Priests

The church has been gifted with various priests like  Fr.  Victor Nayak as the father In charge and Fr. San Bondoko with Fr. Thomas Ngong as his assistants. They work hand in hand with seminarians from Don Bosco, St Patrick’s Society, Mill Hill and De Paul who visit on Sundays. Both the priests and the seminarians have been assigned groups and jumuiyas that they work closely with.

Small Christian Communities

There are currently 28 Small Christian Communities (Jumuiyas) and each of them come from the church’s environs. They all have moderators who head them. The jumuyias serve masses on Sundays as planned by the liturgy committee. It is worth noting that the jumuyias have patron saints that guide them when conducting their activities and include:                                                                                      St. Gabriel, St. Angela, St. Laurent and St. Veronica, only to mention a few.

Groups

Church groups are also in work and they are 9 in number. These groups serve both the church and community outside the church. They do this through works of charity like visiting the sick and cleaning the church’s premises on their environmental days. The groups are as follows: Youths Serving Christ, Missionary Youth Movement, Young Catholic Adults, Pontifical Missionary Childhood, Christian Women’s Association, Christian Men’s Association, Legio, St.Elizabeth Nyoluoro and Wajane.

Weddings and Baptisms

The church has also been blessed to have beautiful weddings as it has had 391 weddings since its formation. May God bless the couples and their families.

Baptism of the young and old is increasing in number in the parish which is a good sign. Most of the baptism is done during easter which has a great symbolism or rising with Christ, a new life in Him.

Most functions of the church are not only done by the priests in the parish but also invite their friends and colleagues to help them in the celebration of masses.

The School

The parish has made a step ahead in assisting the community by building a school: Emmanuel Junior Catholic School, that began in 2015 with 7 pupils. We now have over 280 pupils and 20 teachers. The school is following the new curriculum and is up to grade 7. Its leadership is by the Church through Mrs.Faith Chepng’eno.
